FROM DEGRADATION TO REGENERATION

SCRIPT PT 1.

A few years ago, we did a study in places we work around the
Democratic Republic of Congo, and we discovered something incredible.

SCRIPT PT 2.

Plant With Purpose works across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

SCRIPT PT 3.

Communities reverse deforestation, increase crop yields, and overcome poverty.

This is a demonstration of how our plants will come to life to show regeneration.

SCRIPT PT 4.

When we were looking at the data, we saw that poverty didn’t just go down for people who were direct members in our program. People were benefitting just by belonging to a community where we worked. And the reason for that is… our watershed model.

Using earthy monotones we are showing the degradation and through animation growth of vegetation we will show the regeneration of a specific area.

SCRIPT PT 5.

If you pay attention to the direction where water flows, typically towards a body of water and away from elevation, and trace the outline of a space where all water flows towards the same spot, you have the boundaries of a watershed.

Most often, these boundaries are the lines of high elevation made by hills and mountains, because any water there runs downhill, whether through streams, or even through the soil in the form of groundwater.

The watershed model simply means we concentrate our efforts within these boundaries.

SCRIPT PT 6.

And so we no longer need to work with every single person in a watershed. We just need to hit a point of sufficient saturation often around half of the watershed, in order for everyone to benefit.

And it means that rather than spreading ourselves thin around a country or across the globe, we can strategically concentrate our efforts as we seek to grow.

Art Direction

Each watershed region will be based off of actual map/science topography and generated using Google Maps which is then brought into 3D Software.

We are combining real life photography with A graphic language to mesh with your branding. From color pallet to typography this video content will be in harmony with all PWP content moving forward.

We envision this approach to have a narrative feeling that hinges on a strong V.O. narration of the likes of National Geographic and movie trailer type experiences.

Note - This watershed technique lends to the ability to create specific diagrams based on every region PWP is working. This is very exciting and takes us beyond this video.

Lower Thirds

Taking from the PWP brand guidelines, using shapes, colors and typography in an interesting way that speaks to your brand.

Transitions

In order to stitch each moment of the script together we plan to bring to life moments by using transitions, inspired by the PWP branding guidelines. These shapes and colors mixed with animation will yield exciting results and keep a nice flow going throughout the video.
